The Links course was originally created in 1992 by two legends of golf course design, Peter Alliss and Clive Clark. Three decades later, architect Kurtis Bowman was employed to undertake a complete transformation, giving it the modernity and technical expertise demanded by the world’s finest greens. It was a renovation that earned the prestigious award of ‘Best Golf Course in Spain’ at the 2023 World Golf Awards and a place among the top ten courses in southern Spain according to Top100GolfCourses.com in 2026. The end result is an 18-hole, par-72 championship layout where each hole has been redesigned from tee to green: with strategically repositioned bunkers, wider fairways that improve wind perception and one of the largest double greens in Spain. The Links is now a course that challenges without punishing and surprises without disappointing.
But what truly sets the Links Course apart is its openness to the surrounding environment. The fairways slope gently down towards the Mediterranean, bordering almost two kilometres of coastline to a beach of singular beauty.
