Dear members and visitors,
I´m glad to greet all of you as a Golf General Manager at La Hacienda Alcaidesa Links Golf Resort. I´m very excited as I believe that I have the right combination of relevant industry experience, managerial skills and deep knowledge of running a golf Club and be a real asset to the Club.
From 2015 to 2019 I have worked at the prestigious Real Club Valderrama. Voted as the best Golf Course in Europe by numerous publications it also served as the venue for the 1997 Ryder Cup. Before arriving La Hacienda I was running PGA Riviera Maya, a masterpiece of Robert Trent Jones Jr at the Caribbean area with an exclusive Real Estate development and 4 hotels (Bahia Principe). As a Manager, I have a great passion for growth, developing many facets within the Club for it to reach its full potential. I have gained a reputation for making the right choices on key decisions about team building, events organization, brand positioning and budget control. My prior work experience has given me a strong sense of client service and fully committed with members and expectations.
I am constantly maintaining an awareness of market trends in the golf & hospitality industry and monitoring what other clubs are doing. I keep in touch with the latest industry developments by being a member of numerous industry forums and associations, which allow me to interact with other colleagues. To date I feel my strongest abilities are:
- Always ensuring that the highest standards of quality, member service and attention to detail are adhered to.
- Managing and motivating those who work with me to reach our goals and ensure efficiency.
- Being able to warmly greet members and visitors and then quickly find out what their needs are.
- Organizing PGA Tour and European Tour events and tournaments.
I´m looking forward to seeing you all at La Hacienda and enjoy the two golf courses, the amazing views over the Mediterranean Sea and a superb F&B experience!
