Designed by the renowned architect Dave Thomas, the Heathland course was conceived with a clear objective: to be a tournament course that constantly challenges players.
Home to the Santander Spanish Women’s Professional Championship, the 18 holes combine strategic layout, native vegetation and complex greens that test both technique and concentration. LINKS COURSE: THE ONLY LINKS COURSE ON THE COSTA DEL SOL
The Links course at La Hacienda is a rarity in southern Spain, being the only authentic links-style course on the entire Costa del Sol. Following its extensive renovation by American architect Kurtis Bowman, it received the coveted honour of ‘Best Golf Course in Spain’ at the 2023 World Golf Awards, enhancing its status as an undisputed benchmark for European golf.
